As a member of the Zero Waste Youth Convergence planning committee, I helped coordinate a multi-day event for over 500 attendees, collaborating on everything from speaker recruitment and event programming to content creation. Beyond the conference, I served as a content creator for our digital presence, designing Instagram assets and educational content to keep our community engaged year-round. Whether I was organizing a screening of The Story of Plastic, coordinating a site visit to the San Leandro transfer center, or developing social campaigns, my focus was always on translating complex environmental issues into actionable, community-driven storytelling.
