My work with the Berkeley Ecology Center centered on turning environmental goals into tangible city policy. I served as a collaborator within a coalition of local nonprofits to strategize, advocate for, and successfully pass Berkeley’s landmark Disposable Free Dining ordinance in 2019. Collaborating closely with the Ecology Center’s Executive Director and key stakeholders, I translated complex policy details into a motion graphics explainer video designed to guide local business owners through the transition. My role bridged the gap between executive vision and community action, combining high-level creative direction with legislative strategy and direct business outreach.
